Gregory Lobb, Ph. D.

Staff Therapist

 

Dr. Lobb is a Licensed Psychologist, Licensed Professional Counselor (L.P.C.), National Certified Counselor (N.C.C.), Approved Clinical Supervisor (A.C.S) and Pennsylvania Certified School Counselor.

Dr. Lobb received his doctoral degree from West Virginia University in the APA accredited Ph. D. Program in Counseling Psychology. He received his Master's degree in Counselor Education from Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP) and his bachelor's degree from Clarion University of Pennsylvania in Elementary Education. Dr. Lobb completed an APA accredited internship in psychology at Allegheny General Hospital (AGH) in the Department of Psychiatry, where he graduated with Honors. Dr. Lobb was also awarded the Ester Mandelker Excellence in Psychotherapy Award while at AGH.

Dr. Lobb is the Clinical Director of Family Psychological Associates, where he oversees all clinical services provided in the psychiatric clinic. He is currently an adjunct faculty member at Carlow University in the Counseling Pyschology Department, and Indiana University of Pennsylvania in the Counselor Education Department. He is a past adjunct faculty member at Waynesburg College. Dr. Lobb has had previous appointments on several boards of directors and is a professional member of multiple psychology and counseling organizations. Dr. Lobb provides Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) to adults, adolescents, children, couples, and families. He has worked with a variety of patients in diverse settings
